Hello!
I am excited to share a sketchbook that really became all about testing, showing up, making marks, messes, and tests on the pages. Best of all, I made this particular sketchbook by hand! It was actually my first ever handmade book, but then I fell in love with making books and made others to share before this one was fully filled up. Now it is full and ready for a sketchbook page turner video! Whoot!
How do we get to the point where we can hear our tiny tender stories? Pages like the ones in this sketchbook, pages and pages of allowing ones-self to show up with no end game in mind can help. Pages of quiet making, drawing, and handling art supplies. These days it is really easy to think that all creative output needs to also become creative content for social media, but why?
I find that showing up on the page is enough to keep myself sane, content, and importantly learning and moving forward.
After the video I list many of the products tested and used on these pages. I encourage you to support these and other small businesses! And, no I do not get any affiliate money or kickbacks, I simply enjoy sharing what I enjoy using.
