The patriarchy asks women to be ok with shuffling through lots and lots of repetitive work, it asks us to work for free and love the work (even if we do not), with this as our "background" and "foundation" it is hard hard work to hear ourselves. To hear our dreams. To hear our innermost needs.

It has been a while since I shared the reason I make SuzZine every month. For me it is to encourage others to hone in on their creativity and make room and time for the work of making stuff that matters, at whatever age! My work is intellectually stimulating and incredibly playful at the same time.
