    I’m so glad you gave us a closeup tour & explanation of your new work. Without it we would have not noticed or seen all the laborious detail work that went into the creation of each piece. I particularly liked your comment about all the details being unseen and also unpaid. So much work in life goes unnoticed & unpaid.

      Mary, thank you! Yes, indeed these new paintings hold a huge amount of labor. I work hard to make sure the paintings are viewed differently from far away vs close up! We DO need to take a closer look at how society at large is running—I am an optimist, I think things CAN be better for all. Suzanne

      Hi Cyndy, Thanks for the question! Yes, using Bristol paper and PVA glue each and every square is individually cut with an X-acto knife and glued into place with a pre-drawn grid. You may have noticed that I leave a few squares out! There is meaning behind this, but I am not quite sure how to explain this, yet—hopefully soon I will have the words and reason!
