Teaching and Work Experience

Teaching and Work Experience

I intended to take the year off and rest, draw, read, walk, play with my dog and do yoga daily. This plan was put into effect as a way to recuperate from a family trauma that happened in 2016. In February 2017, my plans changed and I began working for Washed Ashore in Bandon, OR. I make huge sculptures that travel the country to venues that use the work in hopes of educating the public about marine debris and the harm plastics are causing in our oceans.

This year is a fun year! I became a Teaching Assistant for Sketchbook Skool (SBS)! How exciting is that! SBS is an on-line community of sketchbook artists from around the world. I began taking classes from them in 2014, and now I am a part of the team. So exciting!
Certified 200 Hour Yoga instructor, trained by Janine Melzer at Om Shala Yoga Studio in Acrata, CA. Registered with Yoga Alliance. I love to teach Yoga Hikes in the great outdoors.

I work in my studio, almost every day. Writing, drawing and reading. Taking a hiatus from painting on canvas to write, illustrate, and create my first book Conscious Curiosity: Communicating to Connect. An In Your Face Guide to Communication for Couples.
