Drawing for Fun

STOP saying “I can’t draw!” STOP saying, “I’m stuck!” Begin using drawing to facilitate creative problem solving and personal centering. The techniques are great for opening your creativity and encouraging connection in an organization or group setting.

Here is why this class is important for you: Drawing works the brain, the heart, the soul, and taps into your deep wells of creativity. If the idea of drawing for a few hours sends you running – please don’t, don’t go, not just yet. Drawing forFfun is different. Yes, we draw. We draw a lot. But I have a few tricks up my sleeve that tease your brain, heart, hand, and soul into wanting to draw more. And most importantly, allows your subconscious to dream and free associate and you will find yourself having fun while drawing.

I might ask you to close your eyes briefly – and draw! I might ask you to breathe – and draw. I might ask you to put your hand in a sack – and draw what you feel. OK breathe a few deep breaths, you can draw for the fun side of the brain! We have fun, but that’s not all. You’ll see!

We draw. We draw on our own drawings. We draw on each others drawings. A bit of exquisite corpse tossed in – just to mix it all up! You don’t know what exquisite corps is? Not to worry, you’ll learn just a little about this surrealist style of drawing in: Drawing for Fun.
